Star-crossed Lovers 

Star-crossed lovers? Like Romeo and Juliet? Well yes, the term originates from Shakespeare love story of 2 teenagers in a forbidden relationship. The term means that their fate is sealed to be tragic. That just because two people love each other doesn't mean they'll have a happy ending. 

This term is more than just Romeo and Juliet. It applies to any two people who love each other but because of the universe and what fate they are faced with, they were bound to end tragically even if they still loved each other with all their hearts. why it needs to happen? Why does love always have to have some tragic ending? If the two people are capable of being together and fate isn't testing them, then the feelings are one-sided causing it to end bad or if two people love each other with all there hearts and souls but the universe keeps them apart. From forbidden love to anything fate throws out, the two lovers can fight all they want but their fates have been sealed in the stars since they met, they end tragically. 

Why can't the universe just let the two people who love each other be together? Why does there love need to be forbidden? why does fate tear them away from each other only to bring them back over and over again like a wicked game of the heart till they are torn away forever? Why do two people who love each other have to be separated by fate? Why did the universe let them fall in love if it was written to end in tragically? 

People tend to associate star-crossed lovers with Romeo and Juliet or a movie but its real. Two people loving each other but everything that could break them is thrown at them over and over till fate seals the tragic ending with reality. It shouldn't be that way. It shouldn't be that two people cant be together because of there families or their pasts or their mistakes or of any actions people take to sabotage them. Of course, no one ever said love is simple. Love is one big complicated mess that can not be understood. Everyone feels love in there own way. Love today is usually one-sided feelings and once feelings are mutual the lovers begin to feel how their fate is written a tragedy. When that mutual love becomes so strong they are whiling to overcome any obstacle the universe throws but no matter the fighting, it was written in the stars, they shall end tragically. No matter how much two people love each other, no matter how much they fight, they're star-crossed lovers and there love is destined to end tragically.
